On Friday, October 29, 2021, at approximately 1955 hours, police responded to a call of an assault inside a residential building, located within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a conscious 40-year-old male with a stab wound to his torso inside the vestibule of the location.
EMS responded and transported the victim to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation a 54-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged.

- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
