Rashaan Davis, 36 Arrested For The Murder Of Anthony Laster, 33

On Friday, December 17, 2021, at approximately 0012 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot inside of 1221 Sheridan Avenue, within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 33-year-old male, lying face down within the first floor hallway, unconscious and unresponsive, with gunshot wounds to the back, head and left arm, as well as slash wounds to the back and head.

EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 36-year-old me individual was arrested and charged on Tuesday, March 08, 2022, at approximately 1800 hours within the confines of the 44th Precinct.

Charges:

  • murder;
  • robbery;
  • manslaughter;
  • criminal possession of a weapon.

The investigation remains ongoing.
