It was reported to police that on Monday, November 08, 2021, at approximately 1435 hours, inside of Crotona Park, a 13-year-old child victim was walking home after school, within the vicinity of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx, when an unknown individual approached the child. The individual grabbed the child, threw it to the ground and forcibly removed the victim’s leggings. The individual proceeded to sexually assault the victim.
Before the individual fled, he removed the victim’s cell phone.
EMS responded and removed the victim to an area hospital for medical evaluation, where the child was treated and subsequently released.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following individual has been arrested and charged on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 2045 hours within the confines of the 42nd Precinct.

- attempted sex abuse;
- criminal obstruction of breathing.
The investigation remains ongoing.
