On Saturday, October 10, 2020, at approximately 2255 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at 105 Post Avenue, within the confines of the 34th Precinct in Manhattan.
Upon arrival police observed in the courtyard of the location a 26-year-old male, who was unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his head.
EMS also responded and transported the male to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
In the course of an ongoing police ivestigation a firearm was recovered, and a 28-year-old male was arrested and charged as follows.

- murder;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
