On Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 1920 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in front of 805 Taylor Avenue (Monroe Houses), in the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police discovered two males shot.
Victim #1, a 24-year-old male, was shot in the head and transported to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.
Victim # 2, a 22-year-old male, was also shot in the head and transported to New York City Health + Hospital / Jacobi, where he is in critical condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
