Pair Had Fraudulent Charge Cards

A Bronx woman and a Virginia man face forgery charges for having fraudulent charge cards Wednesday, Nassau County police said.

Aaliyah Alder, 18, of 607 E. 139th Street in Bronx, NY, faces two counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument, and Matthew Rosado, 22, of Clarksville, VA, is charged with second-degree possession of a forged instrument, police said.

Alder and Rosado were arraigned Thursday and held pending bail, with $5,000 set for Alder and $25,000 for Rosado.

Police investigated and found Alder was in possession of a fraudulent check and a fraudulent Green Dot MasterCard.

Police said Rosado was “acting suspiciously” and when asked to identify himself used a fraudulent Green Dot Visa card and his driver’s license.

Both were arrested without incident, police said.
