On Saturday, August 29, 2020, at 0612 hours, the following 38-year old male off-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged within the confines of the 69^th Precinct in Brooklyn.

Details are as follows.

Arrested:

John Matzen
NYPD Detective

Charges:

DWI;
refusal to take breath test.

The investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
