On Saturday, August 24, 2024, at approximately 1521 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at E. 149th Street and Third Avenue subway station, within in the confines of the 40th Precinct / Transit District 12 in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 33-year-old male with a stab wound to the torso.
EMS responded and transported the 33-year-old male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln in critical condition, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
