On Thursday, August 15, 2024 at approximately 0112 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress, in front of 1310 Sheridan Avenue, within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 27-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
