Madeline Betzler Passes At 102

Madeline (Valenti) Betzler died March 6, 2012 at Genesis-Troy Hills Center in Parsippany, NJ. She was 102.

Born and raised in Manhattan, she was a longtime resident of Bronx and Montville, before moving to Parsippany recently.

A homemaker, Betzler was a former member of the New Stirling Athletic Club for Seniors in Bronx.

Betzler is survived by her son, Kenneth R. Betzler and his wife, Marjorie, of Tavares, FL; daughter-in-law, Genevieve Betzler, of Montville; three grandchildren, Michael, Robert, and Marilyn Betzler; and two great-grandchildren, Bevin Betzler and Andrew Brinkley. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Betzler in 1976 and her son, Edward C. Betzler, in 2010.

Services were conducted by the Stephen J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service. Interment followed at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
