On Sunday, August 15, 2021, at approximately 1310 hours, police responded to a call of two people, shot at E. 149th Street and Brook Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police observed two males shot.
Victim #1, a 43-year-old male, was shot in torso and was transported to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Victim #2, a 43-year-old male, was shot in the leg and transported to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
