Jose Muniz, 28, Wanted For Grand Larceny

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in locating the individual depicted in the attached photo in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 47 Precinct in Bronx / transit District #12.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at 08:00 a.m., inside the train station located at the corner of White Plains Road and East 241 Street, while aboard the northbound #2 train, a 19-year-old male victim was asleep at which time the male individual did remove his backpack containing a Macbook Pro laptop, a car title and various credit cards. The victim was later contacted via Facebook demanding $500 for the return of his car title. The individual is identified as:

Bronx, NY

He is described as a male, Hispanic, 28-years-old, 5’5″ tall, weighing 130 lbs., with short black hair and brown eyes.
