On Monday, February 24, 2020, at approximately 1630 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress inside of 5869 Broadway, within the confines of the 50th Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple stab wounds to the neck.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to New York-Presbyterian Hospital / The Allen Pavilion, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 53-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Monday, February 24, 2020, at 2030 hours, within the confines of the 50th Precinct.

Bronx, NY 10453
Charges:
- murder;
- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
