On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at approximately 1546 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault at 3370 Baychester Avenue, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 28-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his chest.
EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
