On Wednesday, April 07, 2021, at approximately 0022 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person, shot at the rear of 544 Claremont Parkway (Claremont Parkway, Franklin Houses), within the confines of the 42nd Precinct / PSA #7 in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 21-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the buttocks.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

On Monday, April 19, 2021, pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 24-year-old individual has been arrested and charged in regard to the above-listed homicide.

- manslaughter;
- robbery.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
