On Saturday, September 19, 2026, at approximately 2119 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) received a 911 call reporting a male, shot at the intersection of Cruger Avenue and Magenta Street, within the confines of 47th Precinct / PSA 8 in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 29-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the torso.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
