On Friday, May 30, 2025, at approximately 1244 hours, police responded to a 911 call of shots fired in the vicinity of E. 173rd Street and Crotona Park, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased on scene.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
