Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man accused of shooting an innocent bystander during a fight with another man last week.

The man in the orange jacket was seen fighting in the surveillance video in front of 967 E. 167^th St. in the Longwood section of the Bronx at about 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, said police.

That’s when a 20-year-old woman who was walking by with her husband was suddenly struck by a bullet in the chest.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition, police said.
