Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man accused of shooting an innocent bystander during a fight with another man last week.

The man in the orange jacket was seen fighting in the surveillance video in front of 967 E. 167th St. in the Longwood section of the Bronx at about 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, said police.

That’s when a 20-year-old woman who was walking by with her husband was suddenly struck by a bullet in the chest.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition, police said.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.
