The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photos and video regarding an attempted rape incident that occurred within the confines of the 47 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 08:10 a.m., the 20-year-old female victim was walking on the New England Thruway overpass at Steenwick Avenue, pushing her infant child in a stroller, when she was approached from behind by an unknown male who grabbed her arm and pushed her to the ground. The male pushed the stroller away and began touching her breasts and attempted to kiss her. He also attempted to remove her pants. Upon seeing another individual approaching them on the overpass, the male fled the scene. He was last seen running on Rombouts Avenue towards Givan Avenue. The victim was not injured and refused medical attention at the scene.
The unknown individual is described as a male, Hispanic, approximately 31-years-old, approximately 5’7″ tall, weighing 160 lbs., with brown eyes, medium build, light complexion, and long black curly hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans,
