On Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 0017 hours, police responded to a ShotSpotter activation at 1700 Crotona Avenue, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival and canvass of the area, a 22-year-old male was discovered, unconscious and unresponsive, inside of Crotona Park, with gunshot wounds to the head, back and leg.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the attached photo wanted for questioning in connection to the above-listed homicide.
