The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the male in the attached photograph who is wanted for questioning in connection to an assault which occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
The following has been reported to police.
On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at approximately 1550 hours, inside of a residential building in the vicinity of E. 197 Street and Decatur Avenue, a 34-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified male. The male proceeded to slash the victim on the left side of his face with an unknown object.
The unidentified male fled on foot southbound on Decatur Avenue.
The 34-year-old male victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was treated for a severe laceration to the face.
