The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following individual in connection to an assault within the confines of the 42 Precinct in Bronx.

The following has been reported to police.

On December 05, 2019, at approximately 0930 hours, the 80-year-old male victim was placing bottles and cans into recycling machines at Food Bazaar, located at 445 E. 163 Street. The wanted subject, who was waiting to use the machines, engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim. The dispute escalated when the subject pushed the victim to the ground. A fight ensued, at which point the subject punched the victim causing a laceration to his face.

EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

The individual is described as follows:

  • male, wearing a gray sneakers, a brown jacket, brown pants, and a multi colored skull cap.
