Help Identify An Assault Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, seen in the attached surveillance video clip, who is sought in connection with an assault (non-fatal shooting), which occurred within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, February 06, 2022, at 0004 hours, in front of 875 E. Tremont Avenue, the victim and an unidentified male became involved in a verbal dispute, that escalated.

The unidentified male produced a hand gun and discharged it multiple times, striking the victim, a 43-year-old male, in his left thigh and right hip.

The unidentified male fled on foot.

The victim was transported by EMS in stable condition to St. Barnabas Hospital.

A surveillance video clip of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.
