The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 42 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 1615 hours inside a residential building located in the vicinity of East 160 Street and Melrose Avenue, an unidentified individual knocked on the victim’s door asking if his friend was inside the apartment. The victim, a 54-year-old male, opened the door at which time the unidentified male entered the apartment, displayed a firearm then struck the victim in the head with the firearm. The individual proceed to strike a second victim, a 61-year-old male, also in the apartment. The unidentified individual demanded money and removed $3,000 before fleeing the location in an unknown direction. Both victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.
The individual is described as the following: adult male Black. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket, a black baseball cap with braids attached, blue jeans, black work boots, dark colored hooded sweatshirt and carrying a white bag.
