The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 41 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Monday January 7, 2019, at approximately 10:50 a.m., inside of a residential building in the vicinity of Southern Boulevard and Barretto Street, the individual followed the 77-year-old male victim into the elevator. When the doors of the elevator opened at the victim’s floor, the individual walked out in front of the victim, demanded his money and displayed a handgun. The victim complied and gave the individual approximately $18 in cash. The individual fled the building on foot northbound on Southern Boulevard.
The individual is described as a dark-skinned Hispanic male; last seen wearing a dark colored coat with a fur-lined hood, dark colored sweatpants with red stripes on its sides and dark colored boots.
