The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, which occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Monday, August 30, 2021, at approximately 1145 hours, inside of 5 E. Mount Eden Avenue (Eden Deli Fresh), a 70-year-old male had placed $20 on the deli counter. An adult, Black, unidentified female individual then approached the counter and swiped the money off the table.
As she was leaving the store, the male victim attempted to stop her from leaving the store. She then scratched the male victim’s chest and punched him multiple times in the torso.
The individual then fled westbound on Mt. Eden Avenue.
