The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Monday, February 22, 2021, at approximately 1220 hours, inside of the Boost Mobile cell phone store, located at 112 E. 170th Street, the unknown individual entered the location and approached the 25-year-old female store employee with a bouquet of flowers.

The individual proceeded to put the flowers down, displayed an unknown object, demanded money, and grabbed the store employee by the arm and neck, forcibly pushing her into the back of the store. The unidentified individual then removed approximately $16,000 dollars from an unlocked safe before fleeing the store on foot westbound on 170th Street towards Jerome Avenue.

There were no injuries reported.
