The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the male individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, January 23, 2021, inside of a check cashing business, located at 1801 University Avenue, at approximately 0700 hours, a 44-year-old male victim was in line, waiting to cash a check, when an unidentified male approached the victim, grabbed the victim from behind and pushed him, before forcibly removing approximately $60 dollars from the victim’s hand.

The unidentified male then fled the location on foot.

No injuries were reported.
