The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to identify the male, depicted on the attached surveillance video clip and photographs, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at approximately 0550 hours, inside of 481 E. 163rd Street (BP gas station), an unidentified male entered the location holding a broken glass bottle in his right hand.
The male approached the victim, a 44-year-old female store employee and threatened to cut her. The male proceeded to go behind the counter and removed 10 packs of “Newport” cigarettes valued at $148.50.
The male fled on foot, eastbound on 163rd Street.
The victim was not injured.
The male subject is describes as being approximately 5’10” tall, weighing 160 lbs.
He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, black shirt, black jeans and red sneakers.
