The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the male, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs, who is wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct / Transit District 11 in the Bronx.

The following has been reported to the police.

On Sunday, June 07, 2020, at approximately 1830 hours, a 56-year-old male was on a southbound “D” platform in the 167th Street subway station, when two unidentified males attempted to engage him conversation.

The first individual punched the victim in the face, pulled the victim down on the ground and kicked him.

The second individual removed the victim’s bookbag and wallet.

The suspects fled toward 167th Street and Jerome Avenue and the first individual was apprehended by the police.

The second individual is being sought. The victim was treated for his injuries at the scene by EMS.
