The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached photographs and wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at 2145 hours, opposite 1216 Walton Avenue, a 41-year-old male victim was walking on the street when an unknown male individual approached from behind and pushed the victim to the ground. The individual then forcibly removed the victim’s cell phone from the victim’s pocket and fled the location on foot to a nearby residence.

The victim suffered pain and bruising. EMS responded but he refused medical attention at the scene.

The victim’s property was worth approximately $1,000.
