Help Identify A Robbery Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 47 Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 0030 hours in front of 940 E. 226 Street, a female victim was walking when an unidentified individual grabbed her from behind, pushed her to the ground and forcibly removed her Apple air pods before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.

The individual is described as a male black, short dark hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, blue hooded sweatshirt, blues jeans, and black and white sneakers.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782).
