Help Identify A Robbery Duo

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individuals, depicted in the attached surveillance video clips and photographs, who are wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery, which occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct / Transit District 12 in the Bronx.

The following has been reported to the police.

On Tuesday, August 25, 2020,at approximately 1754 hours, the 32-year-old male victim boarded a southbound 6 train at Soundview Avenue.

While the train was in motion, the victim was approached by two unknown males who asked the victim if he was OK. The males then told the victim to give them everything, and one of the males removed a long sharp object from his waist band area and stabbed the victim in the right side of his torso. Both males proceeded to remove the victim’s backpack from his back, wallet from his right pocket, BOSE ear buds in a case from his front left pocket and a Samsung Galaxy S10 from his hand.

The males fled the train at the Brook Avenue station upon the train doors opening.

The victim chased after the males and was able to retrieve his backpack. At this time one of the males displayed the same long sharp object and stabbed the victim again, once in each arm and once to his head and face.

The males then fled the location to parts unknown.

The victim was removed to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he is listed in stable condition.

The individuals are described as both being males with light complexion, approximately in their mid-30s, approximately 5’9″ to 5’10” tall, weighing 150 lbs. and wearing dark clothing.
