The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the two (2) unidentified males and their vehicle, seen in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who are sought in connection with a police impersonation and a robbery, which occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Tuesday, February 08, 2022, at 0320 hours, in front of 80 West Kingsbridge Road, two (2) unidentified males approached the victim, a 41-year-old male, pushed him against a vehicle and identified themselves as police officers.
The unidentified males then went through the victim’s pockets and removed his wallet, ID, keys and cell phone.
The unidentified males then fled to a black Honda CRV with Florida plates.
The victim was not injured as a result of this incident.
