Help Identify A Grand Larceny Suspect

The New York Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the following male in the attached photo wanted for questioning in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at approximately 1055 hours, inside 1163 Boston Road (B & B African Market), a 46-year-old female victim’s tip jar was removed from behind the counter when she stepped away. Subsequent investigation determined that the jar was removed by an unidentified male and he fled the location with approximately $4,000.

The person wanted for questioning is described as a male Black, 18-25 years old; last seen wearing a black baseball cap with purple bill and a purple shirt.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782).
