Help Identify A Grand Larceny Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the following unidentified female, who is seen in the attached surveillance video clip and is sought in connection with a grand larceny, which took place within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 1200 hours, inside of a laundromat, located at 1309 Boston Road, the victim, a 42-year-old female, set her purse down on a table. An unidentified female picked up the purse and later placed it among her belongings and left the location with it.

The purse contained $20, credit and bank cards, a laundry card and a pen.

A surveillance video clip of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
