The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is sought in connection with a forcible touching incident, that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, September 04, 2021, at approximately 0816 hours, in front of 619 Melrose Avenue, the 19-year-old female victim was walking on the sidewalk, when an unknown male approached from behind and grabbed her buttocks.

The individual then turned around and fled the location on foot.

The victim was not physically injured.

The individual is described as a male with a medium complexion, short in height, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black shorts and yellow sandals.
