The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the unidentified individual depicted in the attached photo wanted for questioning in connection to a burglary that occurred within the confines of the 44 Precinct in Bronx.

Help Identify A Burglary Suspect

The details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at approximately 0400 hours, in the vicinity of Webster Avenue and East 167 Street, an unidentified individual entered a commercial building through an unlocked door and attempted to open a safe inside the location. The individual fled the location in an unknown direction. No property was removed.

The individual wanted for questioning is described as a male, Black with black hair; he was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black sweatpants.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
