The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a burglary, which occurred within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, May 06, 2021, at approximately 0015 hours, at a residence in the vicinity of Boston Road and Charlotte Street, the 60-year-old male victim was awakened by noise in his bedroom. As he investigated the noise he discovered his bedroom in disarray and saw the individual leave his residence through the bedroom fire escape. The individual climbed onto the roof and then fled down to the street by another fire escape.

There was no property taken from the victim’s home.

The individual is described as a male, Hispanic, 30 to 50 years of age; last seen wearing a striped shirt and blue jeans.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.

The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
