The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the male individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a burglary, that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Sunday, November 01, 2020 at approximately 1800 hours, inside of a residential building in the vicinity of McClellan Street and Sherman Avenue, a 34-year-old male victim went to his mailbox, discovered property missing and contacted the police.
Subsequent investigation determined that on Monday, December 28, 2020, at approximately 1740 hours, an unknown male individual entered the lobby of the building through a secured front door.
Once inside the individual forcibly broke into several locked mailboxes and removed various letters and fled on foot to parts unknown.
The total estimated value of property was undetermined at this time.
