The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photographs, who is wanted in connection to a burglary, which took place within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
The details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Monday September 14, 2020, at approximately 0800 hours, at a residence in the vicinity of Briggs Avenue and E. 199th Street, an unknown individual gained entry into the 35-year-old female victim’s home by unknown means.
Once inside, that individual took the victim’s wallet and a hair clipper. Among the items inside of the wallet were numerous credit cards.
The ensuing investigation determined that on September 14, 2020, at approximately 1420 hours, the individual used the victim’s credit cards to make unauthorized purchases at a grocery store, located at 1560 E. 174th Street in the Bronx.
The individual is described as a light-skinned male with eyeglasses; last seen wearing a blue and red baseball cap, a red hooded sweater with the words “looney tunes” on it, blue jeans and black sneakers.
