The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video in regards to an attempted grand larceny within the confines of the 52 Precinct in Bronx.
The details are as follows:
It was reported to the police that on April 30, 2018 at 09:03 p.m. the victim, a 43 year-old male, was inside of a grocery store, located at 111 East Kingsbridge Road when the individual attempted to snatch his wallet from his hand. The victim was able to retain his wallet and the male fled the location empty handed.
Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1–800–577–TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1–888–57–PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers’ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
