On Monday, December 18, 2023, at approximately 1121, hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers responded to a 911 call for an aided child at 240 E. 175th Street, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 5-year-old male and a 5-year-old female, unconscious and unresponsive, inside an apartment at the location.
EMS responded and pronounced the aided children deceased at the scene.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner deemed the cause of both deaths as murder.
Following proper family notification, the victims have been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
