She is at ease with everything from duo to big band, giving her broad artistic range. The jazz couple has made Yonkers their home since 2000, where Ms. Pasternak enjoys its choice proximity to her steady gigs in Connecticut and special performances in Westchester County and New York City. She has performed in concert with the Virgil Scott Swing Band at the Yonkers Public Library Will Branch. This is her first time appearing at the downtown library. She has been collaborating with Sarah Jane Cion since the 1990s, both in a jazz combo or as a dynamic duo, where they both creatively express their appreciation of and love for the Great American Songbook.
