The FBI took down the notorious Bronx gang called the “Creston Ave. Crew” Wednesday morning, which authorities say is responsible for moving about 1000 kilos of marijuana and 5 kilos of cocaine into the neighborhood.

According to FBI spokesman Jim Margolin, as of this hour, officials have arrested 12 members and are looking for 12 others in New York, Texas and Florida. Three crew members were busted in Puerto Rico.

The 6 a.m. raid in several New York locations resulted in three guns and an undetermined amount of drugs having been collected. The gang’s Bronx base is located near Creston Avenue at 2615 Grand Concourse, in the Kingsbridge section of Bronx.

Federal officials will release more details later today.
