Singletary and Pastor Cheryl Singletary, who have been working closely with the Redding family during this devastating time. Christopher Redding was described as a bright football star and a loving son whose life was taken far too soon. His family is calling for those responsible for his death to be held accountable, prosecuted, and reformed. They are also urging increased police presence within neighborhood communities to help prevent further tragedies.
Christopher’s mother and father are outraged and struggling through the unimaginable pain of planning funeral arrangements for their son. They emphasize that no parent should ever have to endure the suffering of burying their child.
The family is requesting a full and thorough investigation into Christopher’s death, including the release of any available footage related to what took place. They say his parents, family members, teammates, and friends deserve answers, justice, and peace.
