On Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at approximately 0033 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided child inside of an apartment at 830 Elton Avenue, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 2-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with no obvious signs of trauma.
EMS responded to the location and transported the aided child to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
