Two people have been arrested in connection with the deadly beating of a 61-year-old man in the Bronx.

Police responded to a call of a man assaulted on 138th St. in Mott Haven around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. That is where police found the victim, Quentin Guerrero, unconscious with trauma to the head.

Guerrero was transported to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police later arrested a man and a woman in connection with the attack but the pair has not yet been charged. A passing taxi driver saw two people assaulting the man on the street and was able to provide a description of the assailants, police said.
