On Monday, September 9, 2024, at approximately 0745 hours, police responded to a 911 of a person, shot in the vicinity of E. 216th Street and Paulding Avenue, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 46-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple gunshot wounds about the body.
EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased on scene.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
