On Thursday, May 06, 2021, at approximately 1507 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot at 2143 Cruger Avenue, within the confines of the 49th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, police observed a 23-year-old male with a gunshot wounds to his chest, unconscious and unresponsive.
EMS also responded and transported the male to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation the following 25-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged.

- murder;
- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
